Alteration Notice (Article 29 Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005)

An Alterations Notice does not mean that the Responsible Person has failed to comply with the Regulatory Reform

(Fire Safety) Order 2005.

But an Alterations Notice does require the Responsible Person to notify the Fire Authority of any proposed changes which may increase the risk in the Premise.

They are issued where the Fire Authority considers that the Premise constitutes a serious risk or may constitute a risk if changes are made.

Who best to help determine acceptable levels of Risk in regards to Fire and help the Responsible Person make those changes, manage those risks, who better than a Professional Fire Risk Assessor.
